A Pembrokeshire man will appear at Swansea Crown Court next month after being charged with four sexual offences involving a female under 16 years of age.

Thirty-eight-year-old Gary Blount, of Clarbeston Road, entered no pleas at the hearing at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to three charges of intentionally sexual touching a 14-year-old girl; and one charge of inciting a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity of a non-penetrative nature. The offences are alleged to have taken place in Cresselly in 2016.

Due to the serious nature of the charges, magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case, and transferred it to Swansea Crown Court, where Mr. Blount, who was released on unconditional bail, is next due to appear on February 16.
