A Milford man who admitted stealing meat and a hoover from stores in the town has been handed a community order.
Forty-three-year-old Ian Michael Power, of Mount Estate, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead guilty to a charge of stealing two joints of meat to the value of £17.38 from Iceland on August 25 of last year; and a Freedom hoover costing £79.99 from Lidl on February 17.
Magistrates handed Mr. Power a community order with a curfew requirement and electronic monitoring.
He was also given an £80 fine for the most recent offence, and ordered to pay prosecution costs of £85 and an £85 victim surcharge.
He denied a further charge of stealing a Lego Harry Potter set and a watch from Argos in Pembroke Dock at the same hearing, and this case was adjourned for a trial hearing to take place on April 15.
