One of Tenby’s lifeboat crew is on the lookout for his lost wedding ring!

RNLI?volunteer Chris Thomas got married to his wife Jodie in November at a ceremony in the seaside town, but unfortunately lost his treasured possession whilst attending a call-out on Friday, May 4, when the inshore lifeboat was requested to launch at 11.40 am in response to a report that a cow had gone over the cliff at Caldey Island.

Fortunately the cow was recovered, but Chris’ wedding ring still remains lost, despite him and his family enlisting the help of Dave and Bex Roberts from the town’s Wood Shop to search for the missing item using their metal detectors, between the mayor’s slip by the harbour area and on the sands of the North Beach.

Even though the family admit that it’s a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack, they’ve urged any one who think they may have found the ring or might be able to help to contact Clarice’s Toyshop in Tenby on 01834 843493.
