At 9.15 pm on Sunday, Tenby’s RNLI all-weather lifeboat Haydn Miller was launched following a report that several people looked to be cut-off by the tide at Morfa Bychan, Pendine.

As they were approaching the scene, the volunteer crew saw lights on the rocks and, as they got closer, it became obvious that they were fishing and in no danger.

However, the y-boat was launched and the crew made contact with the fishermen just to make sure they were not in any trouble.

Once this was confirmed, the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station.
