A Milford man has been fined in court after admitting cannabis possession.
Thirty-eight-year-old Marc Gerald Brummitt, of Elm Lane, Mount Estate, pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing 1.2 grams of cannabis when he appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Dennis Davies told the court that police carried out a search of the defendant’s home address and found a plastic tub of herbal cannabis beneath a pillow.
Defence solicitor, Jonathan Webb told the court that the facts were accepted, and the cannabis was historic, as Mr. Brummitt used to smoke it for pain relief.
Magistrates fined Mr. Brummitt £115 for the offence and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £85 and a £30 victim surcharge.
