Two people from Milford Haven involved in a ‘street fight’ have appeared in court.
Forty-three-year-old Sandra Platt, and forty-five-year-old Karl Paul Salmon, both of the same address at Croft Avenue, Hakin, appeared at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to plead guilty to charges of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
Prosecutor Abul Hussain told the court that police officers attended a premises on Croft Avenue on March 3, after receiving reports of a noise disturbance.
“Officers attended the address and gave appropriate advice to those present and left, but returned again after a complaint of fighting going on in the street.
“The case in a nutshell was that it was a fight between four people in the street who were all intoxicated,” he said.
Magistrates handed both Miss Platt and Mr. Salmon 12 month conditional discharges.
Both defendants were each ordered to pay prosecution costs of £45 and a £20 victim surcharge.
Charges against a further two people alleged to have been involved in the incident, were withdrawn in court.
