An arrest warrant has been issued for a Tenby man accused of causing damage to a betting shop in the resort who failed to show up for a court hearing this week.

Twenty-four-year-old Cheyne Lloyd-Neal, previously of Knowling Mead, now said to be living in Ibiza according to the court, was due to appear at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face three charges, but failed to show up for the hearing.

Mr. Lloyd-Neal is accused of damaging a BGT betting terminal and a sign at Coral Betting, Upper Frog Street, Tenby, on February 10.

He is also charged with damaging the windscreen of a vehicle, namely a KIA Rio, to the value of seventy five pounds on the same day; and using threatening and disorderly behaviour.

On hearing that the defendant was believed to have moved to Ibiza from Tenby, prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard-Jones said: “In the absence of any explanation of where he is or when he’ll be back, I recommend that an arrest warrant be issued.”

Magistrates issued the warrant without bail to secure the defendant’s attendance in court.
