An arrest warrant has been issued for a Pembroke Dock man accused of dishonestly making a false statement to obtain housing benefits.
Seventy-one-year-old Lewis Parkinson of Munro Court, was scheduled to appear at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, to face the charge which dates back to 2013, but he failed to appear for the hearing.
Prosecutor Vaughan Pritchard Jones told magistrates: “The defendant is alleged to have received over £10,000 worth of benefits, so he needs to be here to answer for this.”
Magistrates issued an arrest warrant without bail to secure the defendant’s attendance in court.
