Thankless task

Sir,
Following on from the recent letter from Mr.

Postal thanks

Sir,
May I, through your newspaper, express my thanks to New Hedges Post Office staff and the local postman.

Is this too obvious?

Sir,
Many letters and articles have appeared in previous editions of the Tenby Observer about the De Valence and the state/future of the local cinema.

Where’s Rapper Hill?

Sir,
Not having had a reply from Pembrokeshire County Council’s Highways department to our letter regarding HGV traffic at a proposed new entrance in Clayford Road, near Kilgetty, one of us phoned them to explain further our concerns about road safety there.

‘Nothing better to do’

Sir,
Following on from ‘the thankless task’ regarding how ‘people of Tenby and Saundersfoot who complain to the council have nothing better to do’
I was under the impression that people who write into the local press have a right to express their opinion and ideas on issues that they regard as a benefit to the community to read and think about, regardless if they have nothing better to do.

Special thanks

Sir,
May I pay tribute both to the individuals and to the service that I benefited from two years ago at this time?
I fell ill with a bout of extreme low blood pressure at a family event, becoming unconscious with no warning.

‘A special time of year’

Sir,
The next eight weeks are vital, so please read on .

Teddy bear misses ride home from holiday

Teddy bear misses ride home from holiday
Sir,
We recently stayed at the Little Kings Park, near Ludchurch, and unfortunately in the last half-an-hour or so of packing up we lost our son’s teddy bear, but didn’t realise until we got home.

Landsker Credit Union in difficulty

As we were going to press yesterday (Thursday), confirmation was received that a credit union based in South Pembrokeshire has got into financial difficulty.

Charity night raises £2,200

Sir,
Our annual charity night was held last Wednesday in memory of Griff - to raise funds for Ward 10, Withybush.

Happy memories

Sir,
May I, through your paper, thank Mrs.

Thoughtless motorists

Sir,
It could perhaps be of interest to those of your readers, who do not experience the pleasure of coming to Amroth as often as they might wish, to learn that, never mind the expense, the seafront has been greatly enhanced by the repainting of the faded double yellow lines in a most attractive bright yellow.
